Core Learning Ltd. is an educational publisher of software and online learning applications for the K-12 education market. Based in Toronto, Canada and Philadelphia, USA, its curriculum content is designed to address national and major state and provincial curriculum standards.

Core Learning is a member of the North American Council for Online Learning ( NACOL) , the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). Core Learning products are designed to provide effective learning solutions for the development of fundamental knowledge and skills. Online courses are designed for computers using Windows and Macintosh operating systems. New courses will also be designed for compatibility with mobile devices such as the iPad, Kindle Fire, and other Android-based devices. Core Educational Software and Core Apps

All online products and some course components for quick reference as ‘apps’ are available for purchase at Core Learning’s corporate web site: www.core-learning.com. To help you choose, consider the following:

1. Online services are installed on Core Learning’s servers; software and apps are installed on your computing device and utilize some of that device’s capacity
2. Online services can be accessed from any computing device and your results will be saved online (‘in the cloud’). Installed software or apps are installed on a single device and the results are saved to that device. There are some limitations to the extent of data saved on certain devices, for example, Macintosh computers and iPads.
3. Online services are for a single user and for a limited period. Installed software or apps can accommodate multiple users and are not time limited.
